Arctic Star's premier property is the "Redemption Diamond Project" located in the shadows of two multibillion-dollar diamond mines, Ekati and Diavik, in northern Canada. Over $20 million has been spent on Arctic's property to get to the point whereby it attracted a joint venture partner, North Arrow Minerals, to spend $5 million to earn an interest in the project. North Arrow has continued to develop the project and has discovered several exciting new drill targets that together we plan on drilling in March/April 2016. North Arrow is funding the drill program, is fully financed to do so, and together we hope to locate the source of the diamonds that we discovered on the surface.
Arctic Star has reignited its diamond exploration activities in Canada's high North.
Arctic Star owns a 100% interest in the "T-Rex" and "Triceratop" properties, located beside two other diamond mines in the Northwest Territories. Recent significant diamond discoveries have been made by Kennady Diamonds, utilizing new technology on their Kelvin and Faraday pipes. Arctic Star's strategy is to find new targets by applying the same technology over known kimberlites on T-Rex and "Triceratop", thereafter drill-testing the targets.
The new, 100% owned flagship "Stein" property is an advanced diamond exploration project with indicator minerals, hosting excellent chemistry, complemented by the discovery of distinct geophysical targets immediately up-ice of these mineral grains. Thanks to extensive work completed by other Companies prior to the financial crisis of 2008, the Stein project is a dynamic, drill-ready opportunity for the Company.
Arctic Star is one of Canada's premier diamond explorers with over 300,000 hectares of 100% owned prospective lands and a team with over 100 years collective expertise of diamond exploration and discovery in Canada's North.
Arctic Star remains committed to creating shareholder wealth through discovery by experts.
